Michael Loderstedt Opens Photography Gallery in Cleveland

Professor Emeritus and alumnus Michael Loderstedt is opening an art photography gallery in Cleveland this December called Photocentric. The gallery is located in the Waterloo Arts District of Cleveland at 15515 Waterloo Rd. and E. 156th St. (formerly the “Gold Building”). Photocentric has 1000 sq. ft. of newly renovated, well-lit gallery space featuring works of exceptional regional and national contemporary photographers. In addition, Photocentric will offer professional, reasonably priced custom framing for photography, black & white film processing and scanning, film camera rentals, and professional black & white and digital printing. Regular business hours will be Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Located near the Beachland Ballroom, Waterloo Arts, Ink House, Brick, and Praxis, Photocentric is centrally situated in the burgeoning arts area of North Collinwood. The grand opening exhibition entitled Hopeful featuring the works of Robert Aufuldish, Bruce Checefsky, Lori Kella, Michael Loderstedt, Nancy McEntee and Arnie Tunstall will open on Friday, December 6 from 7-10 p.m. during the popular “Walk All Over Waterloo events in the Waterloo Arts District.
