A Note About Remote Learning and Advising from the Dean

Good afternoon College of the Arts students,

As everyone at Kent State begins the new course format of remote learning, we expect that you may need support in navigating this somewhat unfamiliar territory.  If you find you have questions, we urge you to contact LeAnn Starlin Nilsson (lstarli1@kent.edu) or Sandi Randulic (sranduli@kent.edu).

Please be aware that your advisors are working and are available to assist you with any questions you might have, including details about your Fall 2020 schedule.  Although face-to-face appointments are not possible at this time, you may email your advisor with your questions.  Due to high volume, please allow 48 hours for a response.  The Advising Team continues to stay in contact with students about course information, semester planners, etc.

Please contact your advisor at:

Maria Robertson, mrobert9@kent.edu
School of Art

Kyle Lovell, klovell1@kent.edu
School of Music, School of Theatre and Dance

Laura Caparanis, Emily Vanicek, Riley Woods, fdm-advisor@kent.edu
School of Fashion Advisors

Be well, stay safe and let learning continue remotely.

Best regards,

Dr. John R. Crawford-Spinelli
Dean & Professor
College of the Arts
