Known for her “artistic maturity, technical gleam, and, especially, depth of interpretation" (The Miami Herald), internationally renowned pianist Chu-Fang Huang closes out the 2018-19 Kent Keyboard Series. First coming to the attention of the classical music community in 2005 as a finalist in the Van Cliburn Competition, she went on to claim First Prize at the Cleveland International Piano Festival that same year. A year later, Ms. Huang won a place on the Young Concert Artists roster, earning rave reviews for recitals at Carnegie's Zankel Hall and the Kennedy Center on the Young Concert Artists Series. In 2011 she received the coveted Avery Fisher Career Grant from New York City’s Lincoln Center.

Since her meteoric rise, she has established an international solo career, performing with The Orchestra of St. Lukes, and the Symphony Orchestras of Detroit, Phoenix, Pasadena, Des Moines, and many more. Featured performances as soloist and chamber musician have also brought her to Japan, China, The Netherlands, Australia, Canada, Germany, France and more.
