Kent State voice students earn high marks

On Sat., Oct. 21, the annual student auditions of the Ohio Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) took place at Youngstown State University. Under the leadership of Kent State professor Timothy Culver, Vice President of the chapter and the coordinator for the event, over 200 students represented high school and college-level independent and collegiate instruction from around the state. The voice area in the School of Music had 23 students performing in several categories, with several placing.
