Faculty Lecture Series

The Faculty Lecture Series at Kent State University at Ashtabula will feature biological anthropologist and forensic facial reconstruction artist, Dr. Linda Spurlock, who will present "Forensic Facial Reconstruction: Applications for Law Enforcement and Museums." Dr. Spurlock is an Assistant Professor of Anthropology at the Kent Campus who produces facial images of unidentified persons for medical examiners and coroners' offices as well as reconstructed faces of human ancestors. Her lecture is free and the public is invited.

"Dr. Spurlock is a really well-rounded anthropologist with an extensive background in archeology as well as biological anthropology. Her forensic facial reconstuctions have brought her into fascinating court cases and human stories, including the second Sam Sheppard trial. I'm looking forward to having her here" said series co-organizer Dr. David Perusek of the Ashtabula Campus.
