Homesafe Walk Against Abuse

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and Homesafe, Inc., Ashtabula County's Domestic Violence Shelter, will hold its annual "Walk Against Abuse" on the Kent State University at Ashtabula Campus Wednesday, October 7 beginning at 5:30 PM.

In 2015, domestic violence remains  a social epidemic, and affects millions of families every year. For many years, violence against women has been seen as a "women's issue" but it is a human issue. Help Homesafe spread the word; walk in support of survivors.  It is important for survivors to know that the abuse is not their fault, and  they are not alone. Help is available for those who suffer from domestic violence. In Ashtabula County, call Homesafe, Inc. 24/7 at 440-992-2727.
