Biography

Current Projects:

- Opioid and neuronal regulation of signaling pathways modulating respiratory drive and behavior 

- Tempol modulation of opioid receptor signaling in central and peripherally derived neuronal tissues; role in regulating calcium dynamics and neurotransmitter release

- Intrinsic neuronal excitability in cortical cell cultures; cellular and molecular mechanisms of regulation
