When will my Fall invoice be issued?
Students and authorized users* will receive an e-mail notification on July 17 advising them that their invoice is available for viewing. Students will receive this notification via their university e-mail address.
Is every student issued an invoice?
No, not all registration activity may result in an invoice being generated prior to a due date. Therefore, it is important that students verify due dates and view their up-to-date student account information through their FlashLine account.
How do I access my student account information?
Students have 24/7 access to their student account information through FlashLine. Select the following link for step-by-step (PDF) student account access instructions. WHAT ARE MY PAYMENT OPTIONS?
Kent State Offers a Monthly Payment Plan, administered by Tuition Management Systems. It is available for a $55 per semester enrollment fee for fall and spring term and includes:
- Convenient 3, 4, or 5 monthly payments
- 24-hour account access through www.kent.afford.com
- Toll-free automated account information
- Toll-free personal service Monday-Friday at 800-722-4867

What if my payment is late?
A $30.00 late fee will be assessed for payments made August 6th through August 9th. Non- payment may result in cancellation of a student’s schedule on August 9th. A $100.00 late fee will be applied to account balances of $300.00 or more on October 9th.
When are schedules canceled for insufficient/non-payment?
Schedule cancellations for non-payment will be processed after the close of business August 9. Students will be notified via their university e-mail address if their schedule is canceled. Do not assume that not paying for classes will cause your schedule and housing contract (if applicable) to be canceled. You should drop your classes and contact Residence Services 330-672-7000 if you will not be attending.
How do I make a payment?
You can pay online at https://payonline.kent.edu using a credit card, checking, or savings account. Non-credit card payments can be made at any of the Kent State University regional campuses. Check payments should be made payable to Kent State University. Payments by mail should be sent to Kent State University, Bursar's Office, P.O. Box 5190, Kent, Ohio 44242.
