MBA Concentrations

Students may select one area of concentration or select their elective coursework from a wide array of courses in different areas of study. In some situations, students are encouraged to take coursework outside of the Graduate Programs Office. In order to receive a concentration, a student needs to take 9 credit hours in one of the concentration areas.

Finance Concentration

Select three courses among:

Business Valuation
Financial Management II
Financial Markets and Institutions
International Financial Management
Advanced Security and Investment Theory
Real Estate

Marketing Concentration

Select three courses among:

Promotion Management
International Marketing
Marketing Research
Marketing Strategy and Planning
Buyer Behavior
Brand Management

Accounting Concentration

Select three graduate level Accounting courses to complete the concentration. (See Dr. Linda Zucca, Faculty Advisor, for recommendations)

International Business Concentration

Select three course among:

Theory of International Trade
International Finance
International Business
International Marketing
International Financial Management
International Accounting
International Business Experience

Human Resource Management Concentration

Select three courses among:

Applied Topics in HRM
Foundation Topics in HRM
Organizational Analysis
Leadership and Organizational Change

Economics Concentration

Select three graduate level Economics electives to complete the concentration. (See Dr. Richard Kent, Faculty Advisor, for recommendations)

Fashion Merchandising Concentration
