"I am an Entrepreneurship Major, Marketing minor here at Kent State. I am honored to be on the board of the Student Innovation Fund, a Student Mentor in the John Brinzo Lab, and participate in business competitions as the competitor as well as a judge within the University."
Krista founded Flight 4 the Cure, which is a handmade accessory line supporting the fight against cancer. Flight 4 The Cure produces hand made items such as scarves, headbands, headscarves etc. where 10% of the proceeds are donated to University Hospitals and the Cleveland Clinic for their cancer research efforts. They sell online as well as in 20+ retail locations across Northeast Ohio area.
Flight 4 the Cure is a line of products that gives back in more ways than one. "Not only are 10% of the proceeds donated back to the cancer research efforts of University Hospitals and the Cleveland Clinic, but each product also resembles a story, a fight, a roller coaster ride, a journey. We are working to help find the cure but we are also supporting those we are currently suffering from that little C."
