This short session will focus on the Executive MBA program at Kent State University, a 19-month investment with lifetime returns. Hear first-hand from a recent Executive MBA program alumna, how the program fit into her busy life and how it helped propel her forward in her career. Also, meet one of your future professors and program staff members!

Laurie Walker
Director, Executive MBA

Kent State University

As Director of EMBA Programs, Laurie Walker focuses on facilitating a learning environment that prepares business professionals for advancement in leadership positions. She has previously worked at British Petroleum, GM, Nestle and in consulting.
Laurie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Master’s in Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.


Amy Kittle
Program Coordinator, Online and Executive MBA

Kent State University

Amy Kittle oversees student services for Kent State University's Online MBA and Executive MBA programs. She is a direct contact for prospective and current students, coordinates recruiting and promotion efforts, admissions, advising and reporting for each program.
Amy earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Malone University and her M.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Personnel from Kent State University.


Sheba Marshall
Director, University Benefits

Kent State University

Sheba Marshall is the Director of University Benefits at Kent State University, manages the day-to-day operations of the department and oversees university programs and projects including but not limited to group medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, insurance products, retirement plans, Family and Medical Leave and Workers Compensation program. She is also the prime contact for any tuition waiver questions for KSU employees and spouses/dependents.
Sheba earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace University and is a 2019 graduate of the Executive MBA program from Kent State University.


John Rose, CPA, CFE, CGMA
Associate Lecturer

Kent State University

John Rose is a faculty member in the Department of Accounting in the College of Business Administration at Kent State University, where he has taught full time since 2010. Prior to joining Kent State, John was a partner in a CPA firm and has 32 years of business experiences. He teaches the Financial Reporting course in the EMBA program. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Fraud Examiner, and a Chartered Global Management Accountant.
John earned a B.B.A and M.B.A from Kent State University.
