Groening has been featured on numerous times for articles including “Why Marketing and HR Executives Need to Coordinate their Activities.” 

His current academic research centers on investigating stakeholder’ influence on the financial outcomes of a firm (e.g., customer satisfaction and corporate social responsibility). He teaches marketing strategy to undergraduates and MBA students, brand management to MBA students, as well as a marketing strategy Ph.D. seminar.
