Welcome to the College of Business Administration at Kent State University. Here, you'll find some of the best undergraduate, graduate, executive, research, and outreach programs in business, not only in Ohio, but also in the nation and around the globe.
We strive for excellence in all that we do, and that commitment shows in the strength of our programs and partnerships with the business community. We offer comprehensive business education blending classroom instruction, experiential learning and education abroad to produce graduates that are exceptionally well prepared for the challenges of a global economy.
We are home to the Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation, which continues to launch student businesses each year into the Northeast Ohio entrepreneurial ecosystem to grow our region’s economy. The Global Management Center’s partnership with the U.S. Commercial Service has forged an US Export Assistance Center located in the College to enhance export outreach to Northeast Ohio businesses and give business students global business experience. The Center for Information Systems brings state-of-the-art technology into our classrooms and supports initiatives such as The Tech Spot to provide technology services to the Kent campus.
With your help, we have been able to introduce experts’ speaker series, etiquette luncheons, undergraduate scholarships, internships and more to enhance the education our students are receiving.
I invite you to explore all that the College of Business Administration has to offer and share in our promise – From Kent, The World.

The National Advisory Board is made up of prominent College of Business Administration alumni throughout the country. The board provides an external point of view that provides COBA with vital resources to connect with important external constituencies for information, financial support, expertise and information.
Each academic department at the College of Business Administration has its own Advisory Board. Members of these Advisory Boards represent businesses in Northeast Ohio and beyond. The Boards meet with administrators, faculty, and alumni of the academic department to discuss career opportunities for students, the relevance of curriculum to today's business needs, and partnerships between the academic and professional communities. Each Advisory Board has specific investment and engagement opportunities.
