MAPS Mentors are current students in the College of Business Administration, just like you! Whether you’re a new student at Kent State and want help navigating your new environment and managing your time, or you’re a current Kent State student who wants to make this semester better than the last, the MAPS Mentors are here to guide you to success. MAPS Mentors meet one-on-one with students to assist with time management, goal setting, study strategies and provide resources to help you be successful.
Mentors Aiding in Peer Success (MAPS) is a program that provides peer mentoring for students in the College of Business Administration. Mentors meet one on one with mentees to assist with successful transition to college, academic challenges, opportunities on campus, and personal exploration.
Are you interested in helping others succeed? As a MAPS mentor, you get to be a role model and gain leadership experience. By taking part in the program, you are eligible to receive recognition as a certified mentor, which is a great resume booster. You will gain valuable experience for yourself by helping others be successful. To be eligible, you must be a student in the College of Business Administration.
