The proposed new Student Success Center in the planned Kent State College of Business Administration building will focus on serving undergraduate students in all stages of their academic career in one convenient space.

Whether scheduling classes, meeting with a career advisor, interviewing with an employer or learning about education abroad options, the space will serve as a main advising center for undergraduate and business students.

The approximately 4,460 square-foot space will be housed on the second level of the building, prominently featured off the main atrium for easy student and employer accessibility. The Center will contain offices for Career Services, Undergraduate Programs and International Programs. In addition, the Center will provide interview rooms for meetings between students and employers.

“This space will allow for greater collaboration among all advising units and students will be able to have all of their advising needs met in one convenient location,” said Deborah F. Spake, Ph.D., dean of the College of Business Administration.

Naming opportunities are available for the Center, as well as individual areas within the space. To learn more, contact Tom Hoffman at or Alexa Doutt at
