College of Business Administration Hosts High School Business Innovation Competition

The 2010 2nd High School Annual Business Innovation Competition at Kent State University sparked the innovative spirit among high school juniors and seniors who competed on innovating board games for 14-18 year olds. The event, founded and organized by Pratim Datta and Liz Sinclair, was held at the Governance Chambers in the Student Center. 11 teams from 5 regional high schools competed with creative zeal and business-like professionalism. Each team presented their innovation to a panel of judges comprised of faculty and practitioners. The judges were Jeet Basu (President. AdvanceCom), Karoly Bozan (Ex-Consultant, Accenture, PhD Candidate), Kristin-Dowling (ex-Manager, Kinko's), Sabrena Talbert-Lampley (Manager, AT&T) and Dr. Mary Hogue (Entrepreneur and Faculty of Management and Information Systems).
