Kent State’s College of Business Administration Hosts Student Organization Fair

The College of Business Administration will host a Student Organization Fair Wednesday, Feb. 4 from 12:45 p.m. to 4p.m. The event will be held in the Business Administration Building’s Entrepreneurship Lab A123.

The fair is sponsored by Business Professionals Roundtable and offers students the opportunity to explore and engage with student organizations in the College of Business Administration.

“Involvement in student organizations helps students bridge the gap between what they learn in the classroom and the challenges they will face after graduation,” said Chelsea Bollinger, president of Business Professionals Roundtable. “Studies have shown that students who were involved in student organizations found their college experience to be far more rewarding. They were able to find helpful resources, build their professional network and make lifelong friends.”

Each organization promotes the development of student members and enriches aspects of student life by involvement in various activities and services.  Student business organizations also provide students with valuable contact with professionals that can prove helpful when entering the job market.

Students will have networking opportunities along with the chance to join an organization to help develop leadership and communication skills.

All undergraduate student organizations will be in attendance along with the Institute of Management Accountants and Society for Human Resource Management. The Entrepreneurship Education Consortium is the only undergraduate organization that will not attend.
