Kent State College of Business Administration to Host Destination Found

The College of Business Administration at Kent State University will host its first Destination Found! event on Tuesday, Feb. 11th. The student orientation will take place from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. offering new and transfer students the opportunity to learn more about the College of Business Administration.

The event is geared to business administration majors at the Kent campus and will provide students the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the college.

“I think it’s important to recognize that we really want to make the students feel welcome and to understand what resources are available for them to succeed and to get involved,” said Nicole Kotlan, Director of Undergraduate Programs.

The program will feature a welcome, information on college structure and resources, and will end with a tour of the college if time permits. Students will gather information on academic advising, internships and education abroad opportunities.  A member of the Business Professionals Roundtable will be present to talk about student organizations within the business college.

The College of Business Administration had over 200 students transfer to the college, as well as over 50 students who changed to a business major between the beginning of Fall 2014 and the beginning of Spring 2015. No registration is required for the event.

The event will take place in room 217 in the Business Administration Building at Kent State University’s main campus.

Other colleges around campus are planning similar events for the same date. Times and locations may differ.
