Kent State to Host International Fashion Designer Olga Barinova

Olga Barinova fashion line model wearing her line clothing.The Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation at Kent State’s College of Business Administration, in collaboration with the Kent State Fashion School, will host fashion designer Olga Barinova as a guest speaker on Thursday, September 7.

The presentation will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in Room 115 in the College of Business Administration, located at 475 Terrace Drive in Kent, Ohio. The event is free and open to the public.

During the presentation, Barinova will discuss how she created and maintains international fashion brands Roseville and SELF MADE – two distinctive brands based in Russia. According to company materials, Roseville, founded in 2014, offers “feminine clothes, combining eponymous silhouettes from the past with contemporary attitude to design and details.” The brand was nominated for “Designer of the Year” by Glamour Magazine in 2016 and has been featured in Vogue, Bazaar, Elle, Glamour and Style.com.

SELF MADE is branded as a “high-quality product at an affordable price” offering trendy and contemporary “wearable outfits.”

Previously, Barinova worked as marketing director for Russian luxury apparel brands Alexander Terekhov and Vilshenko and managed marketing strategies of French fashion brands American Retro and IRO in Russia.
