Kent State University’s College of Business Administration Signs New Exchange Agreement
PRLog - Mar. 11, 2014 - Kent State University’s College of Business Administration recently signed a memorandum of agreement with Worms University of Applied Sciences, located in Worms, Germany.
The purpose of the agreement is to establish a mutually beneficial and educational relationship with Worms University.
The possible areas covered by the agreement include:
- Exchange of students
- Exchange of faculty for teaching and/or research
- Organization of joint seminars or conferences
- Host visiting faculty
- Development of joint research and publications
- Study abroad of students between institutions
- Development of special degree completion programs
Worms University offers 15 different courses in International Business Administration and Foreign Trade, International Management, Distribution Management, Tourism and Travel Management, Tax, Computer Science and Business Information Sciences. The business courses are in English, and allow students to work toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree overseas.
“This agreement will provide a wide range of new opportunities for our students and faculty,” Interim Associate Dean for Graduate and International Programs, Don Williams said. “The key benefit for students is that it provides a fairly low-cost alternative for studying abroad at an English language university in Germany. In addition, it will help us attract German students to study at Kent State in both Florence and Kent.”
Worms University is located in the heart of the economically powerful metropolitan region Rhine-Main-Neckar near Heidelberg and Frankfurt, Germany.
Kent State University’s College of Business Administration has partnerships with more than 10 universities offering business courses in English around the world including schools in China, France, South Korea and Canada.
