Kent State’s College of Business Administration’s Executive MBA program will co-present Crain’s Forty Under 40 program. Crain’s Forty Under 40 program celebrates Northeast Ohio’s rising business stars under the age of 40. In its past 22 years, the event has honored nearly 900 individuals for their professional success and civic contributions. Three Kent State University Alumni will be recognized at this year’s Forty Under 40 event:

· Michael D. Murphy, Director, Marketing and Communications, Cleveland Foundation
· Shanelle Smith, Director, Emerald Cities Cleveland
Since the Forty Under 40 event began in 1991, the College of Business Administration has had 20 alumni that have been honored. “Kent State’s Executive MBA program at the College of Business Administration is pleased to co-present Crains's Forty Under 40 event,” said Laurie Walker, director of the Executive MBA programs. “It allows us to honor outstanding individuals who have launched their careers with a meaningful combination of substantial civic contributions and remarkable professional achievements.” The College of Business Administration’s Executive MBA program is an AACSB accredited 20-month accelerated program featuring a global business perspective with international travel. The EMBA program offers two options: EMBA for Healthcare Professionals and the EMBA for Corporate Professionals. The program also features convenient Saturday and online classes to complement the work week schedule of corporate professionals.
