September 27th - International Day Recap
The International Programs Office held their 2nd annual International Day program on September 27th. Multiple education abroad programs were represented on the 1st floor of the Business Administration Building by faculty, staff and education abroad alumni. Various cultures and countries were represented on the 3rd floor by international College of Business Administration students and staff including Israel, Saudi Arabia, Oman, India, China, Japan and South Korea.
This year the IPO hosted a special guest at International Day, KSU Florence instructor Simone Anselmi who teaches (in Florence) MKTG 45060: International Marketing and ENTR 37195: International Experience in Entrepreneurship – The Italian Perspective.
There were 125 plus students in attendance at the event. Those who completed the “passport activity” received a College of Business Administration education abroad t-shirt. Look for students on campus wearing their new gold shirts – with the million-dollar question, “Where Will You Study Abroad?”
Students learned origami at the Japan table.
Students from China dressed in traditional clothing.
Administrative Clerk Diane Sommers and student worker/study abroad alum Kaitlynn Dunn distributed t-shirts to those who completed the “passport” activity at the 1st floor BSA check-in table.
