Kent State's College of Business Administration welcomes the addition of The Tech Spot, an onsite technology service and repair center for students, faculty and staff.
Grand opening festivities took place Oct. 17 with the COBA National Advisory board members in attendance. Following opening remarks from Dean Deborah F. Spake; Vice President of Information Services & CIO Ed Mahon joined in opening the center with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The Tech Spot is a joint venture between the College and Kent State's Information Services division.
The Tech Spot team offers free network, wireless and login support and for an affordable fee, offers tech service for personal PCs, laptops, iPads, tablets and mobile devices of all brands.
The Tech Spot will be open Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in room A222, between the Delta Sigma Pi Café and the BSA computer labs.
