Jewell has been published in a variety of scholarly journals and publications with research focused on consumer behavior, the effects of advertising on brand reputation and brand positioning. 

He teaches Research for Marketing Decisions and Competitive Market Analysis in the managerial marketing Program. He also teaches the Ph.D. seminar on consumer behavior.

Hisrich is a leading author on entrepreneurship, having co-authored 40 books. In addition, he has written more than 300 articles on entrepreneurship, international business management and marketing, which have appeared in numerous academic journals.

Hisrich joined Kent State in 2015. Formerly the director of the Walker Center of Global Entrepreneurship at Thunderbird School of Global Management, he has served as visiting and honorary professor at more than eight universities in six different countries and was a Fulbright Professor at the International Management Center in Budapest, Hungary.

Reynolds was ranked by the St. Louis Federal Reserve as the #75 young economist worldwide. He received the Ewing Marion Kauffmann Foundation Grant to research effects of local property taxes on entrepreneurial startups as well as the Lincoln Institute for Land Policy Grant to research how location-based tax incentives affect quality of life and business environment.

Greenhalgh-Stanley’s research has been featured in Senior Housing News, National Mortgage Professional Magazine, Reverse Daily Mortgage, Loansafe.org, Benzinga, Tomorrow’s Mortgage Executive and the Akron Beacon Journal, among others.

Her research and teaching interests include Urban Economics, Public Economics, Health Economics and Microeconomics. Her research mainly focuses on housing and portfolio decisions of the elderly in relation with changes in Medicaid, Medicare and long-term care insurance.

Rohlin was listed in the top 12 in the world in “Regional Science and Economics” by Growth and Change: A Journal of Urban and Regional Policy.

Rohlin’s research specialties are in Urban, Public and Labor Economics. Specifically, his research studies how government policies impact local economic factors, such as business location decisions. He received the Junior Scholar Award from the Lincoln Land Institute in 2011. In 2012, he received the David C. Lincoln Fellowship in Land Value Taxation. Rohlin recently had work published in the Review of Economics and Statistics.

Polites' research focuses primarily on IS Habits, Resistance to New Technology Adoption and the Interplay between IS Habits and Organizational Routines. She is currently listed among the top 100 IS researchers publishing in the AIS Senior Scholars Basket of 6 journals for the time period of 2009-2012 (representing the four years since defending her dissertation).

Altogether, her work has been published in MIS Quarterly (twice), European Journal of Information Systems, Journal of the AIS, Journal of Organizational Computing and Electronic Commerce, Communications of the ACM and Drake Management Review. She has also presented her research at the International Conference on Information Systems, Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences, Academy of Management and Association for Consumer Research conferences, and was a participant in the 2007 ICIS Doctoral Consortium.
