William Howell, Ph.D.


William Howell, a retired tenured assistant professor of Economics, Accounting and Business at the University of Mount Union (21 years), has years of professional and academic marketing-related experience, ranging from a job in retail management at Higbee’s (now Dillard’s) to his current position as an Instructor at Kent State University. He has been a life-long marketer, one who tends to view the world through a marketing prism. Howell is also an innovative and devoted teacher, a student career development “guidance counselor,” and a published author. He holds an earned Ph.D. in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing, from Kent State University where he was named the Outstanding Part-time Teacher for 2007 in Kent State University’s College of Business Administration.
