When is the next A&E Expo?

The next A&E Expo is scheduled for Sat., Sept. 7, 2024.

The A&E Expo will take place bi-annually, on even years: 2022, 2024, 2026, 2028, etc.
The FAQ's below answered the most frequently asked questions related to the 2022 A&E Expo.
Parking
Where will I be able to park?

Parking arrangements have been made at the following locations:
-
Event parking for attendees will be at Kimpton Middle School.

Bus transportation will be provided from Kimpton Middle School to the A&E Expo.

Who will be able to park at the Kent State Airport (1G3)/FedEx Aeronautics Academic Center?
-
The Upper Lot at the Kent State Airport (1G3)/FedEx Aeronautics Academic Center will be reserved for handicap parking.
-
The Lower Lot at the Kent State Airport (1G3)/FedEx Aeronautics Academic Center will be reserved for VIPs. VIPs will be given a parking pass in advance.
-
The T-hangar Lot at the Kent State Airport (1G3)/FedEx Aeronautics Academic Center will be reserved for volunteers.
Events and Activities
Will there be airplane rides offered by the Precision Flight Team?

Yes! The Kent State University Precision Flight Team is excited to offer airplane rides at the 2024 A&E Expo!

Yes! There are many opportunities to participate in simulated experiences!

Yes! You will be able to operate the FTC Robots!
Will I be able to fly the UAVs used in the demonstrations and/or activities?

What events and activities can I expect to find inside the Hangar?

- Yes! Props-4-Paws will be there accepting food, supply and monetary donations.
