american institute of aeronautics and astronautics (KSU-AIAA)

The Kent State University American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics student organization first began in 2013 and is open to all students. The professional organization AIAA is the world's largest technical society with more than 30,000 members from 88 countries. Since 1963 AIAA has been the driving force of ingenuity and collaboration in the aerospace industry. The purpose of this student organization is to advance the arts, sciences, and technology of aeronautics and astronautics and to promote the professionalism of those engaged in these pursuits.

KSU-AIAA provides an environment for all Aerospace majors to meet, make new friends, get involved, help promote academic achievement, and ultimately get the most out of their time as an Aerospace student. Even if you have a passion for aviation, but aren't necessarily an aerospace engineer, we welcome you to join our family!
