A&E Expo

You are invited to the A&E Expo!

This family event has been a fixture in the Stow/Kent community for more than two decades and we are thrilled to bring this event back and showcase our Airport and FedEx Aeronautics Academic Center to the community. 

The expo offers a unique look into the Kent State Airport (1G3) and offers one-of-a-kind activities for both the young - and young at heart. Activities at this community event include, but are not limited to: 

• Participation as an audience member in the inaugural Private Pilot Pinning Ceremony where students who have earned their Private Pilot Certificate from Kent State University (or have completed their first flight course at Kent State University) will receive their first set of wings; 
• Flights in Kent State aircraft; 
• Flight simulator rides; 
• Robotics and drones activities; and 
• Vintage aircraft displays.
