College of Aeronautics and Engineering Student Completion Fund

The CAE Student Completion Fund supports students who are experiencing hardship and need financial support to continue their education.

It played a crucial role by enabling flight students to continue flying despite financial hardships amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Generous CAE faculty and staff have pledged $2,500 to match all gifts to the Completion Fund.

This important fund allows CAE students with financial hardships to continue pursuing their aeronautics and/or engineering degrees.

Your $25 gift becomes $50; $50 becomes $100!

Show your support for our students when they need it the most.
(Also, for every 20 unique donors who give $25+ to this fund, we will also receive a $500 Bonus Participation Boost from the Kent State University Foundation!)

Martin O. Johnsen Memorial Scholarship

What began as a handful of gentlemen in suits, working under the name of the Industrial Arts Club eventually gave way to Professor Martin O. Johnsen’s journey to creating the Foundry program at Kent State University. Through the years, this program has prepared hundreds of students for employment in the metal casting industry.

The students of the Kent State University chapter of the American Foundry Society have generously pledged $3,945 to match all gifts to the scholarship.

Once endowed, this scholarship will be awarded to full-time Kent State University students who are actively pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree and/or concentration in Foundry Technology. Priority for this scholarship will be given to students who are members of the American Foundry Society.

Your $25 gift becomes $50; $50 becomes $100!
