Biography: Jim is currently flying as a Southwest Airlines Captain based out of Chicago, who has more than 15,000 hours and 25+ years of flying experience. He is a 1994 graduate of Kent State University’s Aeronautics Program, with a professional background stretching across the industry. He began as a Flight Instructor for Kent State, moved on to become a pilot for BP America, a Captain/Check Airman at ExpressJet, as well as an Adjunct Professor with the University. On-top of his full- time job, along with being a Multi-Instructor and Check Instructor, and Professor with the University, Jim is also heavily involved with the Charitable Organization known as Props-4-Paws, and donates his time helping animals in need and at a local animal shelter.
