Construction Management Students Volunteer in Queens

A total of six students, five from the Construction Management  (CMGT) program in the College of Applied Engineering, Sustainability and Technology have been volunteering in Queens, New York helping to repair the damage caused by Hurricane Sandy. The trip was funded by AGC Akron Division (Associated General Contractors of Ohio, Akron). In addition to working full time for a week on this project, the CMGT student organization donated $500 to the cause. The students worked with the volunteer organization, Friends of Rockaway and received accolades for their efforts. This story will be on the ABC evening news at 5 and/or 6pm tonight, Aug. 28, 2015.
