CAEST hosts the 19th Vision 21 Event
On April 29, CAEST will host Vision 21 at the KSU Student Center. This event will honor alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends of the college for their achievements. The night will include dinner, networking and a college update.

On April 18-19, David Poluga served as a presenter at the Ohio Aviation Conference in Columbus.
Kent State University was awarded top honors, receiving the Airport of the Year Award. Poluga received an Honorable Mention for Airport Manager of the Year and our student Kevin Cantrell received the Norman J Crabtree Scholarship which is the highest honor for academic and aviation excellence.
Commencement Spring 2017
Next month, Kent State University (KSU) will host a 10 a.m. graduation ceremony at Dix Stadium with 2012 Oscar Winner, Octavia Spencer. For the first time, KSU is adding a university-wide ceremony for the 256th Commencement Exercises on Saturday, May 13, 2017.
The university-wide ceremony will take place in addition to the college ceremonies currently hosted each spring at the regional and Kent campuses. At these college and regional campus ceremonies, students will continue to have the opportunity to be personally recognized as they cross the graduation stage. The College of Applied Engineering, Sustainability and Technology (CAEST) ceremony will take place at the KSU Field House at 2 p.m. Speaker Martin Hilovsky, '77, '81, CEO of Enviroscience will address attendees. We will share this second ceremony with the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Communication and Information and the School of Digital Sciences.
