Commencement Spring 2017

Next month, Kent State University (KSU) will host a 10 a.m. graduation ceremony at Dix Stadium with 2012 Oscar Winner, Octavia Spencer. For the first time, KSU is adding a university-wide ceremony for the 256th Commencement Exercises on Saturday, May 13, 2017.

The university-wide ceremony will take place in addition to the college ceremonies currently hosted each spring at the regional and Kent campuses. At these college and regional campus ceremonies, students will continue to have the opportunity to be personally recognized as they cross the graduation stage. The College of Applied Engineering, Sustainability and Technology (CAEST) ceremony will take place at the KSU Field House at 2 p.m. Speaker Martin Hilovsky, '77, '81, CEO of Enviroscience will address attendees. We will share this second ceremony with the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Communication and Information and the School of Digital Sciences.
