College of Aeronautics and Engineering (CAE) and Small Business Development Center Partnership

Aeronautical Systems Engineering Technology major Dakota Bunner, presents results from the College of Aeronautics and Engineering (CAE)'s collaborative research efforts with Sustainable Structures, LLC at the Kent State University Undergraduate Symposium on Research. Sustainable Structures is one of approximately 100 manufacturing, technology and construction companies served annually by the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Kent State University's College of Aeronautics and Engineering (KSU-CAE). The SBDC worked closely with Drs. Stringer and Fisch, KSU-CAE to foster a collaborative research effort with Sustainable Structures. CAE students and faculty are currently pursuing collaborations with seven other Northeast Ohio companies. CAE and its predecessors have hosted the SBDC since 1999.
