SUBMITTING APPLICATION MATERIALS
Undergraduate and graduate students should submit materials electronically through the respective undergraduate admissions or graduate admissions portals.
Information regarding Graduate Assistantships may be found on the Graduate College website: https://www.kent.edu/studentaffairs/graduate-assistantships
The College of Architecture and Environmental Design (CAED) is committed to providing support to qualified graduate students. To apply for a graduate assistantship, download the application form and complete it. Upload the completed assistantship application form and all supporting documents (current vita/resume) to your application portal as additional documents after you have submitted your graduate program application. Log in as a returning user with the credentials you used to create your application.
Graduate Assistantships in the CAED are competitive and awarded on an individual basis. Graduate Assistantships are program-dependent research or teaching appointments and are meant to provide financial support by means of tuition waivers and stipend. The majority of CAED Graduate Assistantships are partial (typically one of two semesters per year) with the opportunity for renewal in subsequent years given satisfactory academic progress and good standing. It is expected that graduate students will be responsible for the remaining cost of attendance (tuition, if applicable, fees and living expenses) after the assistantship is applied.
