Quilian Riano, Associate Director of the Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative
Quilian Riano has a Master of Architecture degree from Harvard’s Graduate School of Design where he was nominated for the Thesis Prize, and a Bachelor of Design from the University of Florida. He comes to us from New York City where he is a Senior Strategic Design Initiatives Specialist for New York City’s Department of Design and Construction, Office of the Chief Architect. He is also founder and lead designer of DSGN AGNC, an architectural, urban and strategic design studio. There he manages teams of design professionals, budgets and schedules for large construction and research projects and has extensive experience with grant-writing and fund-raising.
He also has extensive teaching experience including over 25 undergraduate and graduate studios and workshops at Pratt Institute, City College, Columbia University and Parsons New School of Design.
