Aleah Coppin, graduate intern, engages with students to articulate education abroad experiences into personal and professional development; additionally, she provides drop-in advising for graduate students and assists with student events.
Aleah earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a concentration in Interpersonal Communication and a minor in Human Development and Family Studies from Kent State University in 2018. She is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs.
In her occasional spare time, she enjoys reading, hanging out with her friends, and traveling to all the National Parks. Her favorite TV show is How I Met Your Mother, and her favorite book (right now) is The Things We Leave Unfinished by Rebecca Yarros. Though, she loves having no free time since she decided to earn her masters and stay in college forever.
She is a graduate research assistant in the School of Foundations, Leadership and Administration. Her future career goals include combining her love of education abroad and professional development to help students understand their experiences and communicate them in their personal and professional lives.
