Is Accounting the Right Career Path for You? Ohio CPA Info Session
Are you interested in learning more about a career in accounting, but not sure where to start? Are you curious what being a certified public accountant (CPA) means? The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA) is holding an informational session to answer all your questions!
The OSCPA is an organization committed to helping students & professionals achieve their goals within the accounting field. Student membership to the OSCPA is free and there are no requirements to maintain your membership.
This info session will be facilitated by a Kent State Accounting student who is also an ambassador to the OSCPA and it will include:
- What the OSCPA is & what it can offer you
- Information about a career in accounting
- Benefit of earning the CPA credential
- Requirements & process of earning the CPA credential
The OSCPA info session will take place on Thursday, January 28 from 6:30 - 7:30 pm via Zoom. The direct link to join will be provided in confirmation email after registering for the event. There will be time for discussion and questions at the end of the presentation. This info session will benefit you if you are looking to expand your horizons as a business major or are interested in Accounting.
