Kristin Williams, Executive Director of Career Exploration and Development leads the charge for the integration of the career development process into the culture of the University, including the creation of career communities and the scaling of the career ecosystem. She focuses her work on career education, employer relations, career community development, student employment as a high impact practice, and career events. With dedicated efforts towards securing funding to support programs and operations, as well as students directly, Williams was successful in capturing in excess of $500,000 in outside resources for internship development and career education through the OMIC2 and Great Lakes grant efforts.
With a collaborative approach to her work, she has been a part of the University-wide efforts to secure private funding and corporate partnerships to yield more than $1M in funding to support career programming and our students’ participation in internships, co-operative education, and more.
