
LuAnn Coldwell
Biography
LuAnn Linson Coldwell’s role as Career Adviser for the Visual and Performing Arts includes supporting all students and alumni in creative career fields. LuAnn brings a depth of experience and expertise from working in career advising roles at KSU Geauga and the Twinsburg Center, The University of Akron, and NEOMED (formerly NEOUCOM). She has co-authored journal articles, presented nationally at conferences, and is an award-winning speaker.
LuAnn is based within the College of the Arts Academic Advising office, in a unique collaborative approach to embedding career support across campus. As the first to hold this position on campus, LuAnn has developed career assessments, workshops, “Pop-Up Drop In’s,” tailored classroom presentations, and initiated new internship development to meet the career needs of creative students. As part of her collaboration with the College of the Arts, she co-chairs the annual “Arts Without Limits” career conference
