The event begins on Tuesday afternoon April 12th with two tours. The first is at the National Polymer Innovation Center (NPIC) at the University of Akron where registrants will view a pilot R2R manufacturing line and unique characterization labs. The second tour will be at Alpha Micron, a materials company with advanced liquid crystal materials being sold into new markets.
A no-host networking dinner will provide introductions to industry colleagues and ample time to exchange information.
On Wednesday, April 13th the workshop formally opens with an analysis of the market, followed by a full day of presentations from current end users and Q&A sessions. Thursday, April 14th is the Workshop on the Future of E-Writing - a look at all of the factors why handwriting will be co-existing with digitization and the components and technology existing and being developed to make it happen.
