CCI Diversity Week
CCI Diversity Week 2019
EMBRACE. EDUCATE. EMPOWER.
The College of Communication and Information (CCI) celebrates CCI Diversity Week every spring semester to promote the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in our community. CCI Diversity initiatives advocate for and provide diverse support (EMBRACE), education (EDUCATE), and resources (EMPOWER) to the students, faculty, and staff in CCI.

CCI Diversity Week 2018
Lend a hand - Be the change
How can you make a positive impact?
For CCI Diversity Week 2018, students, faculty, and staff around the university were asked to reflect on how they could make a positive impact in the world. They wrote their impact on a little hand and added it to the display to show how they could lend a hand and be the change they wish to see.
CCI Diversity Week 2017
Tear down the wall of oppression
For CCI Diversity Week 2017, students, faculty, and staff across campus added paper “bricks” to the Wall of Oppression to represent their fight against different types of oppression. At the end of the week, students were invited to make a pledge against oppression and help us tear down the wall.
