“They” as a Singular Pronoun
In its latest edition, the Associated Press (AP) Stylebook -- a widely used reference for journalists -- is embracing the use of "they" as a singular pronoun. If you were unable to attend the CCI Safe Space Ally Training this semester, please consider attending this one in April. This training aims to equip students, faculty, and staff with the tools for creating welcoming environments for LGBTQ+ students on campus. You have the opportunity to sign an Ally Pledge at the end of the training and receive a rainbow placard for your office. For more information about the training, please visit the website.

Lavender Graduation builds on the university-wide commencement events as an officially-supported ceremony honoring the achievements of graduating LGBTQ+ and Ally undergraduate and graduate students at Kent State University.
