Alumna Named Journal Editor
The Midwest Popular Culture Association / American Culture Association (MPCA/ACA) named Kent State College of Communication and Information alumna Norma Jones, Ph.D., the editor of The Popular Culture Studies Journal (PCSJ).
Jones, who completed her doctorate degree in 2016, has been part of the journal’s editorial team since its inception.
“This is an incredible opportunity to expand upon the mission of PCSJ to increase scholarship opportunities in popular culture studies and to make scholarship available to a wider audience through our open access journal,” Jones said.
According to MPCA/ACA, PCSJ is an academic, peer-reviewers, refereed journal. For more information about the journal, visit http://mpcaaca.org/the-popular-culture-studies-journal/.
