CCI Faculty, Alumni To Sign Books at Book Fair
The Kent State University Bookstore will host its first annual Book Fair Saturday, Oct. 17. Several College of Communication and Information faculty members and alumni will be present, selling and signing their books for festival attendees.
From 11 a.m. – 12 p.m., two JMC professors will be signing their books. Dr. Danielle Sarver Coombs will be signing her book “Last Man Standing: media, Framing, and the 2012 Republican Primaries.” Jacqueline Marino will be signing her book “Car Bombs to Cookie Tables: The Youngstown Anthology."
From 12 p.m. – 1 p.m., JMC professor Dr. Gordon Joseph Murray will be signing his book “Lost in Oscar Hotel.” VCD alumnus Tom Batiuk will be signing a number of his books, including his “Funky Winkerbean” comic series. Finally, Telecommunications alumnus Michael Heaton will be signing his book “Truth and Justice for Fun and Profit.”
