My name is Christine Nelson. I got my BS from Bowling Green State University in Visual Communication Technology. I specialized in photography and worked for the Marketing and Communication department for three years and was one of the university mascots, Frieda Falcon, for a year. I moved to Northeast Ohio to pursue my Masters in Higher Education at Kent State. After completing my degree, I moved back to Northwest Ohio and served as a Success Coach at Lourdes University.
I am so happy to be back at Kent State and the Northeast Ohio area. Being an academic was my dream role since graduate school, and I feel very luck to be within CCI. In my spare time I love to run, visit Cuyahoga Valley National Park and the Summit County Metroparks, bake, garden, and occasionally pick up my camera when I get bursts of creative energy.
