Sara Sobeh, assistant director of academic advising in the College of Communication and Information, earned her BA in Communication Studies & Environmental Studies from Hiram College and her M.Ed. in higher education administration from Kent State University. She joined KSU as an academic advisor in 2010. In 2013 she joined CCI as study abroad coordinator and is currently serving as assistant director of academic advising. Sara got promoted to assistant director of academic advising in 2017. In this role, she oversees academic advising for the college of communication and information, provides administrative leadership to advisors within a decentralized advising model, collaborates with administrators across campus and works to bridge advising and faculty communication to ensure student success. Currently, Sara is pursuing her Ph.D. in higher education administration.
