Kent State Recreational Services Youth Programming (All Ages)
The Department of Recreational Services is proud to offer a variety of youth programming for Future Flashes of all ages! Our signature program, PEAK Summer Camp, features nine weeks of summer fun for kids ages 6 to 15. Learn to Skate/Learn to Play Hockey and Learn to Swim lessons are offered year-round. We also offer a youth swim team, Golden Splashes, for more advanced swimmers. Recreational Services provides a great way for kids to earn physical activity credit with our Home School Gym and Swim program. Additional programs throughout the year include fitness classes, sport prep clinics and more! Check back often for new program offerings and information about special events for kids and families.

Kent State Sports Camps (All Ages)
Kent State Intercollegiate Athletics Sports Camps provide opportunities for athletes of all ages to develop their skills in a fun, sportsmanlike environment. In addition to fundamental instruction, campers will be exposed to sport specific strategies and will have the chance to meet new people. Sports include baseball, cheerleading, field hockey, football, golf, gymnastics, lacrosse, baseball, soccer, softball, track, volleyball, wrestling, and more.

Peak Summer Camps (Ages 6-12)
The Department of Recreational Services at Kent State University is excited to offer weekly themed camps for its 18th consecutive year. PEAK Summer Camp is accredited by the American Camp Association. Each session is facilitated by highly motivated and energetic students and professionals. All camp counselors are certified in American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. Activities change weekly based on the theme, but the camp follows a similar structure each week; there is also swimming every day. Lunch, snacks and a T-shirt are provided.
The Department of Recreational Services also offers a Leader-in-Training program for campers ages 13 - 15.
Dates: June 4 - August 10 (nine weeks total, sign up for any number of weeks)
Time: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
