We invite high school students and their parents and siblings to visit the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry for Explore Kent Chemistry Day on Saturday, February 6, 2016.
Our program will begin in the Williams Hall lobby at 10:00am. Chemistry & Biochemistry professors will describe our curriculum, job prospects with our degrees, and research opportunities available to undergraduates. KSU Chemistry & Biochemistry majors will describe college life from the student's point of view. We will demonstrate our 3D stereoprojection classrooms and take a tour of the instructional and research laboratories. The visit will conclude with an informal lunch, where you will have opportunities to talk one-on-one with faculty and students.
High school juniors and seniors come from all over Ohio and neighboring states for Explore Kent Chemistry Day. Current KSU students who are considering Chemistry & Biochemistry majors are also welcome.
