MUSE Group Book Discussion - Brooklyn

The Muse Group, a Library sponsored reading discussion program, began in 2004 and is open to both the campus and surrounding community. The mission of the group is to bring lively and interesting discussion of a wide variety of books on differing topics to whomever would like to read, and then have a forum in which to discuss their books of  interest.

This MUSE Group Book discussion will be on Brooklyn by Colm Tóibín

“One of the most unforgettable characters in contemporary literature” (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette), Eilis Lacey has come of age in small-town Ireland in the hard years following World War Two. When an Irish priest from Brooklyn offers to sponsor Eilis in America, she decides she must go, leaving her fragile mother and her charismatic sister behind. (Amazon)

This MUSE Group session will be held at the Museum of Ceramics 400 East Fifth Street East Liverpool, OH 43920
