Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
Magnetic Resonance Imaging uses a powerful magnet, radio waves, and computers to create sectional images of the human body. The images reveal complex information about body structures and the chemical changes that occur as a result of the onset of disease.
Bachelor Degree Program for MRI
A Bachelor degree in Radiologic and Imaging Sciences in MRI is available for students who have graduated from an accredited program in radiologic technology, nuclear medicine or radiation therapy. Students must also complete Kent Core courses and upper division electives toward degree requirements.
